What Six Months of Crossfit Does To Your Body

A few days ago a friend of mine was asking me what happened to all my Crossfit updates. Well I’m still going strong. I’ve finished the individual private classes a few months ago and have really been enjoying the group classes. It has been about 5 or 6 months since I joined Crossfit.

I was digging around in my iPhoto and found a picture of myself about a year ago in the Caribbean. That is quite a long time ago but my body didn’t change much between last August and when I started Crossfit. So what does about 6 months of Crossfit do to your body?

Take a look (watch out for boobies!)
Six Months of Crossfit

A few things that still need to be improved:

  1. My Diet. I still eat really poorly. I’ve reduced my fat / fried food intake but it is nowhere near the ideal Zone diet. Making improvements here would likely drive my performance way up.
  2. My schedule. I go two to three times per week. Increasing and maintaining a four workout a week schedule would see even bigger increases.

Overall all my performance metrics have improved. I’ve dropped two pant sizes and my weight hasn’t changed. I’ll post another update in a few months. Maybe if I change my diet I can be closer to that much sought after six-pack. :)
